Our Daily Bread Board Members

Rick Durham - President

I was born and raised in Hammond.  I graduated from Hammond High in 1983.  I began attending college at La Tech and finished at Northwood University in Midland, MI in 1987 with a degree in business management.  I started flying airplanes before I had a drivers license and received my private pilot licenses on my 17th birthday.  I started working in the automobile industry at the age of 15 and stayed in that business until 2008.  My experience included working for one of largest Toyota dealerships in the country in Dallas, TX, a General Motors dealership in Fort Smith, AR, and a product specialist for Chrysler.  I returned to Hammond in 1989 and had the great fortune of partnering with my father Richard P. Durham in the Hammond dealership.  I later became the dealer and was blessed with 20 years as the owner.  I think about and miss my father everyday!  I have been married to my beautiful wife Elizabeth for 26 years and we have been blessed with 4 wonderful children and 1 son in law.  Currently, I manage a family business that is a real estate investment company that I started in 2008. Revered Bill Eubanks was the reason I first got involved at Our Daily Bread back when it started.  In 2008, I was asked to become a become a member of the board by Myrna Jordan and have been actively involved since then.
